Murmur is a new-age decentralized micro-blogging platform that’s entirely user-driven, user-controlled, and rewarding.
Just like the early adopters of Steemit enjoyed free account opening with 15 SP delegation, Murmur is one of the Dapps on EOS that is helping its early adopters get a free EOS account.
How Can I Get Murmur?
Good question! For android users, you can get Murmur here, for iphone users, you can get it here. After installation, open the Murmur app and choose a twelve character name all in small letters (a-z, 1-5), after that you'll be notified almost instantly if the name you choose is available or not, if it's not available create another one until it is available.
After creating or coming up with a name that is available, then you follow the next step, not to insult your intelligence, I think from here, the next step to take is intuitive and then you will be told to wait for a 24 hours period to get your EOS account, when I created mine it was less than 24 hours.
If after 24 hours you don't get any notification from Murmur app, then go to their telegram group chat and chat them up, one of the admins will swiftly respond. Here is the link for the official telegram group chat.
After your EOS account has been created, you will get a notification from Murmur app that your account has been created, after that copy out your keys and save it in safe location.
To login, you import your account by entering your Active Private Key, after that you then click on import account, after a successful import, you'll select your account name, you'll be asked to enter a four(4) digit PIN and a referral code (your referral code is elegantgrace).
Congratulations you now have an EOS account!
