SPECTRE Community Update
As our capped, live-beta platform test draws to a close in April, we are pleased to announce that the Spectre rewards portal is now live and can be accessed at https://www.spectre.ai/investors
The portal is open except to any restricted regions (which includes citizens of the U.S.A). You will be guided through a short process when registering, including KYC. KYC is automated unless any discrepancies are found; if this is the case, it can take up to 2 business days to be approved by our legal team. Once completed you may withdraw your maiden rewards and on an ongoing basis, every week. For gas cost efficiency, we urge withdrawals every fortnight or monthly.
This total first distributable reward is 370.8 ETH (c. $254,000) and is available to SXDT holders. Of that amount, 6.1 ETH is from trading volumes generated by traders in Spectre’s first test-month, untl 25th of April, and the remainder 364.7 ETH, from the DALP based passive proprietary participation in the wider markets (already declared earlier this year). Post the aforementioned distributable rewards, the DALP has seen a net-growth of +0.3% or 16 ETH (c. $11,000) during the first month and this constitutes the potential end-of-year ‘special’ rewards to SXDT holders which will accrue during the year. “Of this growth, 12 ETH is based on in-platform trading volumes and 4 ETH from the DALP’s passive mining participation mandate.”
New rewards based on the trading volume will be issued every Sunday at 12pm (noon) GMT.
Please note, the current version of the rewards portal has full support for Metamask withdrawals (which supports ERC20 compatible wallets and wallets created in MEW) but not hardware wallets such as Ledger or Trezor. Ledger support will be added within 10 business days and other wallets, over the course of the next 3 months.
For local tax considerations, all SXDT rewards are distributed gross but you are required to report these as capital gains to your local tax authority, in order to ensure you are compliant. We have made available a reward-tax-receipt, in the rewards portal, for your end-of-year filing purposes.
