Anyone who has followed cryptocurrency markets this year knows all too well that there has been many opportunities to make enormous gains from investing in this fledgeling industry in its early stages. Almost every token seems to have made gains and it has at times seemed almost impossible to pick a bad project. It was with this in mind that 6 months ago I decided to give my pet pooch Tilly £100 ($130) and allow her to choose her own investments and to monitor the results.
Here is my post from the 31st of June where the ‘Pup from Main Street’ made her shrewd investments ...... https://steemit.com/steemit/@gamma-rat/can-my-dog-tilly-make-money-on-cryptocurrencies
So here we are 6 months on and I decided its time for a progress report on Tillys portfolio. Christmas is coming and she has her eye on a large bag of treats she saw in the window of the local pet shop. Below is a chart showing the 5 cryptos she picked and divided her £100 between followed by the value on 1/6/2017 and then todays value. Lets see how she got on .....
From $130 to $431 in just 6 months! Thats absolutely astonishing!!!
Well done to the Pup of Wall street ... almost 350% gains!
This is actually even more amazing when considering 6 months ago on Poloniex most of the better cryptos were not yet listed. If we were to rerun this experiment now with Binance Exchange and all the great new generation cryptocurrencies like Iota or Cardano or Waltonchain then her selections would have made even greater gains.
350% buys a lot of treats though and is more than most professional investors in the mainstream economy make in 6 years let alone 6 months ..... And she's a Dog. This really proves in this crazy world of crypto investing its almost impossible to lose right now.
So in conclusion I hope any new investors can take inspiration from my Dog Tilly and her miraculous investment skills, if she can do it then you can to.
She's off now to spend some of that well earned cash ......
