OmiseGo [OMG]:
What is OmiseGo ?
OmiseGo is a part of a already well established and well backed venture Omise, which was started in 2013. They handle payment solutions for various enterprises and are already operating in Thailand, Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia, with rapid expansion plans to neighboring countries across Asia-Pacific.
What are they trying to do ?
OmiseGo is trying to combine the banking and payment services with blockchain. They are basically trying to create a payment solution which would allow cross border fund transfer and peer to peer transactions on a blockchain, without having a bank account. Being specialized in the field of payments solutions, OmiseGo seems to leverage their expertise and build a wallet based on blockchain technology. You can find more info here.
Who are behind OmiseGo ?
This project has one of the most cutting edge teams in the crypto space. Apart from having a well experienced founding team they have some of industry's best names as their board of advisers.
Joseph Poon-,Co-Author Lightning Network, Vitalik Buterin, Founder of Ethereum, Julian Zawistowski Founder of Golem to name a few. That's so much knowledge in one single line.
But why should I invest in OmiseGo ?
OmiseGo currently saw a huge pullback with almost 50% correction from it's all time high. It's currently [at the time of witting] at $7.74 which is very reasonable considering their vision.
From the technical stand point, OmiseGo stand just above the RSI is over sold levels and MACD is just about to crossover.
Final Verdict:
OmiseGo isn't trying to be jack of threads, rather they're trying to tap into the space which they good at and have expertise at. And, with the kind team, the idea and the vision of banking the unbanked they're certainly up of something.
So, would you be betting on Omigo ? Do let me know your views in the comment section.
