Although cryptocurrency started some nine years ago, there are still many people just joining the world of cryptocurrency momentarily. I have discovered that some members of the DeepOnion community are new as well and have little or no idea of how to trade cryptocurrencys (esp. ONION). In this tutorial, steps exists that will guide you on successfully buying/selling ONION on the cryptopia exchange platform. It is also important to note that onion can be bought with bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin on the cryptopia exchange at the moment but this article will focus on the bitcoin/onion trade.
Step 1- Visit the official cryptopia website on https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/ and login. if you dont have an account before, click on register, then fill in the form and submit.
Step 2- After you login, click on Market, which is on the homepage of cryptopia website. (see pic below)
Step 3- On the market page search for ''onion'' for you to easily get it because many cryptocurrency exist on the cryptopia exchange and scrolling to search for onion could be frustrating and time taking. (see pic)
Now click on onion that you have searched for.
Step 4- You will see that the onion/btc trade has open. Now scroll down and fill in the amount of onion you wish to buy on the buy section. Then click on 'price' to show the current price per one onion in bitcoin. Finally click on buy onion.(see pic)
If you intend to sell some onion, just input the amount of onion on the sell section and click on price, then click on sell. You will receive the equivalent of the amount of onion you sold in bitcoin.
Finally you will see the amount of onion you just bought on your onion balance which you can withdraw to your deeponion desktop wallet, so it begins to stake (increase) for you.
