We're still up about $3,000 in one year. A 200% annual rate of return is actually INSANE comparatively to most markets. Two years ago BTC was at $500.
Emerging technology takes time to develop. If you are investing in any emerging technology, you're ready for a 5+ year hold. Anything else is gambling.
This is a phenomenal flush out of countless current projects that are absolute trash. It will also instill diligence and maturity for future ICO investors.
Blockchain/ Distributed Ledger Technology is independent of government or some bullshit ETF. Sure, the ETF, if accepted, would help speed up adoption... As would stamps of approval from various governments, but who cares. This is a better system that literally cannot be stopped or shut down. It is not an "if" but a "when" the shift turns parabolic. The only variable is time.
The price literally only matters for short-term price speculators. Mining difficulty is adjusted regularly.
Fast, Inexpensive, Trustworthy, and Secure. This is what the public at large really cares about and Blockchain has the ability to be a leading performer in all aspects.
