Project overview - #MyEtherPony 🚀

💥Good friends, I greet everyone on my blog! Today I will tell you about a very interesting ICO project. We will discuss how MyEtherPony is implementing blockchain technologies in the decentralized gaming industry, and we will also talk in detail about the details of the ICO.

🚀MyEtherPony or (“MEP”) is an ethereum based digital pet game. In this game, you can collect ponies, trade them and breed them. Each pony has a unique look and trait and actually, that makes crypto collectibles so popular. Because the pony you gonna have is so unique there is only a single one of it on the whole world. A real-world pony is also just like that, right?

• MyEtherPony is the newest blockchain game online. When I first heard about the blockchain games, I did not pay much attention. Then the Cryptokites and Steem Monsters were huge successes, so I decided to investigate the latest game on the MyEtherPony blockchain. Anyone who is interested in cryptocurrency should be familiar with blockchain games. A cartoon with all the reptiles of adult male followers, called pony-brothers, A blockchain with digital games for pets, based on My Little Pony. This game is not only for the inhabitants of the cellars, they are for everyone! Does your daughter want a pony? Good ponies are expensive, krypton is much more available!
• Combining game principles and blockchain technology - Rewards are a key portion of any games and it is implemented using the tokens offered by Ethereum on the blockchain. They are ERC20 and ERC721 for utility value and digital scarcity respectively. Using Social elements to boost engagement and retention - Human nature is geared towards socializing and interacting with others which are implemented in MEP using Leaderboards, Sharing, Personalisation, Messaging, and Peer-based gameplay.

Let's suppose you liked this project and want to start. How to do it?

• You need a PC with Google Chrome and some ETH to be able to buy a pony. You can import your ETH wallet within the website and the plus side is they don't store your private keys on the server. Ponies do not have a fixed price and you should bid them on the marketplace section of MyEtherPony website. I like this bidding idea, in fact, it adds value to the collectible in the mind of the user. There will be only 5000 Gen-0 ponies available for bidding, Gen-0 means the first generation of ponies.
• Let's say you have more than one ponies. You can breed them! So that you can have mutated ponies. Biology enthusiasts like me would love to guess the possible outcome of breeding of two ponies for sure. You can collect them, treat them as pets and care for them, what else? Competitions! the first one will be racing competition in which you can put your pony in a race with other ponies. Seems fun! To be honest the biggest reason I am not into collecting things is the physical burden they impose on you. Storing them, cleaning their dust, protecting them etc. But guess what. With digital collectibles, you don't have such issues. Projects like MyEtherPony proves that crypto projects can be fun!

💥Token Details:

• The most crypto traders are familiar with is ERC20 tokens which is fungible. Meaning they are the same tokens produced in a certain amount of units and interchangeable with its own type. MyEtherPony utilizes an ERC20 token called Dekla (DKL) within MyEtherPony. The token is necessary for anything purchase and potentially earned within MyEtherPony. In other words, DKL is the instrument for economic activity in our App.

• ERC721 is a type of token on Ethereum that is non-fungible, meaning each of them is unique. 1 unit of ERC721 token may have a different value than another because of the different attributes each of them has. We will explore and adopt ERC721 to present a set of unique items with unique attributes. Since they are unique, they could potentially be valued differently with one another.
