What is cryptocurrency? If you search this question on youtube, google, or even steemit you will get a lot of different responses that vary across the board. Some of these can be very dense technical explanations, while others can be off-based broad assumptions about the whole idea of digital currency.
I want to add my voice to all of these in hopes of offering a simple (non-technical) and easy to understand explanation of what cryptocurrency is even about, what a bitcoin is, and other terms that those who follow this world closely may have heard and even understand. I hope that by doing so it will help me to crystallize its meanings in my own mind, while also helping others that are completely new to this.
The goal is to do a sort of "Back to the Basics" series of videos that I will begin posting by the end of the week. If there are any other topics you'd like me to cover, feel free to comment below and mention it.
