I see a number of people making price predictions on crypto currencies. The fact is that there's no tried mechanism yet to value a crypto currency. One call only say that the value will increase if the acceptance, penetration, and the transactions for such crypto currencies gain prominence. But who can predict the price?

Truth is that a lot of things need to unravel here. For e.g. the Indian Government has asked for suggestions at its website mygov.in where it is seeking suggestions from the citizens of India. On the table are three questions that will be considered by an expert committee: Whether Bitcoins and crypto-currencies should be (1) banned (2) regulated, or (3) allowed to function without regulation. Imagine what it could do to the very nature and use of cryptocurrencies even if (2) and (3) above were officially acknowledged. Also what the impact would be if it was decided to be Banned.
A lot will unfold and it will have ramifications for the crypto currency story. Until then it's just a leap of faith one which is backed by strong technology, an alternative idea that actually works, and can make lives better for people in the remotest corners of the world. We just need to wait and watch and cling on to our beliefs in our leap of faith.
