For a number of days now, I had been monitoring the price of both #STEEM and #SBD almost every minute. Seriously?
Honestly, I was hoping it could go up as high as 7$ at least, although I conditioned myself already, if SBD reaches 5$? Then I have to withdraw immediately, otherwise would wait for a longer time again before the price gets better.
I had been needing some cash lately as the end of the school year 2017-2018 is near. That means for parents who have 4 children in school, this time would be the hardest when it comes to school expences and the other is on enrollment.
So powering down or to withdraw even if the price is low is one best option just to cope up with the needs, which I find people on #steemit should also respect and understand.
I think this is not bad at all, I learned from one of the notorious whales here on #steemit that even whales would opt to power down when the need arises.
So by monitoring the prices of #STEEM and #SBD every single day, I realized the value is stuck at this average (3-3.50$), it will only goes up a bit but it will go down again.
When we look at the value of our own country's currency against US Dollar, we can say that our economy is getting stronger if the value stays in a considerable amount and is going down.
That' s the reason why when USD gets high against Philippine peso, Filipinos who are working abroad will be grateful because the value of their hard earned money will increase, but that instance could mean a weaker economy for the whole country and could lead to a higher or increased prices of the basic commodities.
Now going back to the value of both #STEEM and #SBD, considering the very low amount when we compare it with the prices last December 2017, does this mean #steemit community is getting stronger?
No, I don't think so.
As what I learned, when we produce or provide the steem blockchain with quality contents, it will yield more #steem and could eventually lead to a higher value for both cryptocurrency (steem and sbd).
Anyhow, I consider these things as something beyond our control, the best thing that we could do just like what the experts says is to HODL and wait for the right time or the best time to withdraw.
But then again, people should also consider the fact that when people is in dire need, they wont' be particular with the price anymore but withdraw just to supplement the current needs.
