SmartMesh is a blockchain-based start-up working on infrastructure level protocol to realize off-internet communication and payment. SmartMesh offers users mesh network that connects mobile phones, on which people who share their own mobile phone as nodes are rewarded in crypto tokens. Mesh network is an ad hoc network that can be automatically established between radio nodes such as mobile devices. One of the unique features of the SmartMesh protocol is that it can offer communication and payment services without the internet.
