Binance pages have been facing access restrictions in Venezuela

In an article published by Luis Blanco for the news portal "BeinCrypto, "Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, announced that its platform is experiencing access restrictions for its users in Venezuela."

According to the messages sent by Binance to its users in Venezuela it is stated, "Like several websites of companies from different segments in Venezuela, including social networks, Binance's pages have been facing access restrictions."

In this regard, "Venezuelan users, accustomed to facing restrictions on internet access, have quickly responded by resorting to virtual private networks (VPNs) to circumvent the blockade and continue accessing the platform".

On the other hand, "The restrictions currently faced by Binance do not represent an isolated event in Venezuela. Recently, the government of Nicolás Maduro "temporarily" blocked access to the X platform, formerly known as Twitter."

In the case of X, "This blockade has been interpreted as a measure to control information and limit freedom of expression in a country where social networks play a crucial role in the communication and dissemination of news."
