When Traxia began it’s funding campaign for their infrastructure, they detailed their plan and potential pitfalls in the TMT whitepaper. In the last post, I covered the role of the Issuing Provider. In review, the Issuing Provider is responsible for most of Traxia’s functionality.
In this article I’ll pull out one of the pitfalls the team’s whitepaper forecasts and take a closer look at what they plan to do in the face of it.
As with most businesses, there are bottlenecks that form as the company expands it process. A bottleneck in business is when one compartment is holding up the rest of the business ‘flow’. This requires either an improvement of the existing piece, or removing the piece and replacing it with something entirely different. It can be difficult to accomplish.
Traxia aims to implement a bottleneck-free business from the start, and they’ll be teaming up with a company called Creditsafe to do that.
What is Creditsafe?
In short, Creditsafe is recognized as a rating agency by many major credit insurers. They have operations in 12 countries throughout North America, Europe, and Japan. They are a privately owned company that began in 1997 in Oslo, Norway.
They “began with the idea of using the then emerging technology of the internet to supply business information to a market of smaller and medium-sized businesses by selling over the telephone and delivering reports over the internet.”
Partnering with Traxia is a great next move and should fall in stride with what the company has been doing for over a decade.
Traxia will be proving their concept with a loan warehousing system to match Buyers and Sellers initially, with the goal to make full decentralization possible over a longer period of time. Since their focus isn’t in pricing debt, Creditsafe has agreed to take on the task.
