In september 2017 the ICO of Wanchain ended at a price of about 0,35$ per token. (36.000.000$ total invested)
Now, on February 1st we are on the eve of listing on an exchange which safely would be Binance or Kucoin.
The expectations for the listing price are about 2$ - 8$ which depends on the massive increase of Ethereum since the end oft he ICO in september where the ETH price was about 300$.
What is Wanchain?
The idea of Wanchain is to connect different blockchains. Wanchain also has its own blockchain.
This extract of the whitepaper describes the multilayer system which was invented by the Wanchain team. As you can see in the picture, for example you switch from the Ethereum blockchain to the WAN chain protocol which works like the cashbook betweet the blockchains so it controlls what goes IN/OUT. From there you can go for example form ethereum to another chain.
Furthermore wanchain has its own blockchain where you can make private transactions.
Application examples are:
• exchanges of cryptocurrencies
• Loans of cryptocurrencies
• Investments / Crowd-Funding
Team:
The team is also an important aspect, most of the team are from Factom /FCT. Which is also a solid top100 project, and if you bring a project in the top100 you definitly made some thing right. And with the wanchain project they want to improve this already good running system.

Another good thing about wanchain is not only the experience of the team, its also the trust of the people, which you can see at the time the ICO was sold. It was sold out in only a few seconds.
They also do a very good marketing especially at the social media channels. For example there are over 500 YouTube videos, over 72.000 Twitter follower, a huge Telegram channel and also a Discord group.
If you look a the roadmap , the main goal for 2018 is in june, there the cross chain trading should be released.
If this work (and it probably would) , it will fix a lot of problems and wanchain definitly has some oppertunity to moon.
The main area of application:
Wanchain wants to function between banks. A global problem with bank transactions all over the world are on the one hand the duration , on the other hand the fees.
This problem wanchain wants to fix with the cross chain trading.
Yes there is already a top 3 currency which makes quick transactions between banks: Ripple XRP, but we all know about the problem with the centralisation of Ripple. And if a coin has total supply of nearly 100.000.000.000 coins and over 60% aren’t circulation, it should be something to think about.
By the way, the key word for the future is decentralization not centralization
All in all a nice project that is definitly a look worth it.
