There's no shortage of crypto exchanges around, but as more and more regulations are forced upon is it becomes more important to give our attention to decentralized options to protect our freedoms. The first problem they want to address are in exchange fees. They promise their fees to be 4-10x lower than other exchanges. The spread of fees for exchanging crypto can be ridiculous, and you have to be very careful before submitting a trade! Their proposed rate is 0.1% per transaction.
In addition to reduce fees they also promise a much faster experience. I haven't noticed any real lag in my trading that was not to do with confirmations for the cryptos themselves in my own trading though. So, I don't know how useful this would be. My biggest problem with exchanges honestly is the indiscriminate disabling of wallets and placing them in a perpetual "maintenance" mode that you have to wonder will ever be lifted. I wish somebody would fix that crap.
Their security offers the standard offerings of encryption, two factor, and they claim to keep most coins in cold storage to be safe from attacks. This has certainly been a big issue for exchanges - so much so that most people won't keep coins on these platforms at all due to theft. This is a major barrier for mass adoption. Casual investors don't want to put their money into something that can be stolen so easily. Especially from an exchange you're supposed to be able to trust. If the really can improve this area they're already winning in my book.
They are also an anonymous exchange. There are no fiat trading option - only crypto. Since they don't deal with banks they don't require the typical verification methods required for other exchanges, and your freedom and privacy is secure.
