The second cryptocurrency in market capitalization and one of the most popular by the Blockchain that supports it, Ether, has plummeted by more than 20% in recent days.
This fall is the result of a public statement by an official of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in which the spokesperson acknowledges that there are more than a dozen investigations of ICOs based on this cryptoactive.

It is not known exactly what the official is referring to but it seems that there are apparently more irregularities around Ethereum and its active pupil, Ether.
