More good news for bitcoin as a Chiasso in Switzerland will now start accepting tax payments in bitcoin. This new scheme is expected to kickoff next year. There are limitations with the system as it would accept payments exceeding 250 Swiss Francs.
This is another big win for bitcoin considering how the price slumped from $5000 USD to about $4100, after announcements were made that the Chinese government will ban bitcoin exchanges.
It is becoming clear how policies in one country can affect the entire world if bitcoin is finally adopted as the ultimate currency, but i have no doubt that things will take turn for the better once countries begin to make an effort in making the price of bitcoin stable.
One fear i have is that as more countries begin to adopt bitcoin, there will calls for government regulation, not by the people, but by government seeking to control the cryptocurrency. Let's not forget that certain countries have in the past tried to impose regulations on bitcoin (India for example), but that has not yielded any positive results.
As bitcoin becomes more and more useful, the value will skyrocket and anybody who has not invested in bitcoin now will be left to buy at a higher price
