I found an easy and maybe free way to Calculate the Capital Gains on your Cryptocurrency trades for preparing this year's income tax (Canada, USA and beyond) After experiencing much frustration with the realization that each crypto exchange has different methods of providing the information required for calculating your income tax due (see: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@robvann/crypto-income-tax-reporting-quality-varry-by-exchange) I eventually found this amazing web site service called Coin Tracking.
Aside from all the cool graphs and information it has, they have the electronic templates for many popular exchanges that can be integrated into one overall perspective. Totally cool concept!
For me that included a file import from the two Canadian exchanges that I use:
- Quadrigacx
- CoinBase
The built in TAX report has exactly what I need now, and will be updated as CRA and others make changes.

Apparently you can also integrate them more tightly using the API's if you trust their security.
The site is free for "small" users (200 trade transactions), and a reasonable price for bigger users (in BitCoin)
