First off, this is just an opinion and one I️ am very passionate about. If you disagree, that is completely fine, but I️ strongly believe that Ripple is a premine scam.
The coin has no real value. It has no working system. Ripple has no companies they have partnered with, even though they are always hinting that they have big time partners that are about to sign. Ripple is incredibly centralized. It is not an open block chain - and ripple, as far as I️ know, can freeze your ripple and make them unusable. Pretty crazy stuff. And if that’s not enough, banks already have a system in place called swift which is adapting and even adding blockchain tech. So there isn’t really a need for Ripple.
Personally when I️ got into the space I️ bought some Ripple. I️ was only thinking about big percentage gains at the time. Looking into the idea of Ripple changed my whole outlook on the coin. I️ held for months and no matter what, there were no partnerships and there are other coins out there with scalability that are much better and have NOTHING to do with the banks!
Overall, I️ can’t tell anyone what to do with their money, I’d just say to really ask yourselves what cryptocurrencies are all about. They became a reality because of the corrupt banking system after the 2008 Finacial Crisis and are here to liberate the people. My honest opinion is that cryptocurrencies are here to bring the power back to the people and we really need to focus on that and not quick profits.
