Vertcoin has recently been getting some well deserved attention lately. The recent success of Atomic swaps between VTC and LTC is just one of the many new updates coming down the path for VTC. I'm excited to announce they just released their new Vertcoin Electrum TOR Wallet a couple hours ago. This will allow people the ability to remain even more anonymous giving an even higher level of privacy which is the entire point of crypto currencies. I just want to say congratulations and thank you to the VTC dev team and all Vertcoin holders. This is just the beginning.
What is the Electrum TOR Wallet?
The TOR wallet is a modified version of our Electrum Wallet, designed to only sync over a TOR connection. To use the wallet you must first download and run the TOR browser. Once TOR browser is running, launch the TOR wallet and it will connect over TOR via proxy (localhost: 5190) You now can enjoy IP privacy when sending and receiving transactions.

The Basics of Vertcoin.
Vertcoin is not just some new crypto on the block. Its been around since 2014 and has proven itself as a reliable and ever-improving truly decentralized digital currency that can be sent from peer to peer over the internet. VTC is similar to both LTC and BTC in some ways. Vertcoin does however have a few differences that make it more decentralized. Vertcoin has one of the strongest communities I've seen in crypto and I think it definitely deserves the title of "The Peoples Coin".
Vertcoins ASIC resistance mining allows everyone the equal opportunity to mine VTC allowing for a more fair distribution and decentralization of the coin itself. Vertcoin stands as one of the very few coins that stays true to the original vision of cryptocurrency: a financial system owned by its users, the people’s coin.

For more details and information here is the updated spec sheet below that in my opinion makes VTC extremely undervalued and has much more room to grow. I definitely plan on adding more to my portfolio overtime.
