Opera launched a private beta recently that includes a built-in cryptocurrency wallet. That's not just a small thing in my opinion but a huge step towards bringing easy crypto payments to the world eventually.
They themselves call it web 3.0 and to be honest I like that expression. It sounds just too accurate and reflects the huge disruption cryptocurrency will have on our daily online-life's in the future.
“Our hope is that this will accelerate the transition of cryptocurrencies from speculation and investment to being used for actual payments and transactions in our users’ daily lives.”
I think there's nothing to add, criticize or whatever else to do on this quote. It just sounds so amazing to me and I'm definitely following up closely to their releases from now on. Who knows eventually I might switch over to the opera browser after all :)
