The Internet is being rebuilt with cryptocurrency. It's somewhat surprising that this phenomena isn't getting more attention. There's a lot of talk about speculative values, and speculation is an important part of the market for sure.
What's also important is to understand the protocols which is the underlying communications network ....the base layer....the communications protocol which insures cyber security.
The internet as we know it today is this very vulnerable thing which is far from being secure. A more appropriate description of the internet today would be: Insecure. There's some puns to be made for sure.
