BOTH bitcoin and ripple have continue to sit around a price-point of $14,000 and $2 respectively with only ethereum continuing on its path north.

Bitcoin's price is up at $13,778 (£9,994).
Ethereum is down a little on the day so far at $1,334 (£967).
Ripple is down 3.1 per cent to $1.83 (£1.33).
10.05am - UPDATE - Release the Kraken
Kraken, the world's fifth-largest globally cryptocurrency exchange, came back to life over the weekend after a long outage had fueled anxiety among users that worse news was soon to follow.
Fortunately, Kraken needed maintenance and was not the victim of a hack attack. Kraken shut down last Thursday for what was projected to be two hours of maintenance.
But the revamp of their trading engine didn’t go well. The exchange provided regular, contrite updates as staff hunted what was described as “an elusive bug.”
The exchange released a blog, the firm said: "The Kraken website and trading is now back online, following the recent scheduled downtime necessary to upgrade our infrastructure. All client funds were kept safe and secure during this time."

9.17am - UPDATE - The next big thing
Dan Falvey has rported on "verge" the latest coin to see growth rocket at a similar rate to ripple, here.
Experts at Tradingview have tracked the movement of the verge market and have spotted similarities with that of ripple.
Verge experienced its first real increase in growth in December after its value rose by 800 per cent to over $0.32 just before Christmas but has since seen its value drop.
Created in 2014, verge was once known as DogeCoinDark before being rebranded.
It is believed that the value of the currency may soon reach higher than its resistance line and then see growth boom.
Coin price is $13,606 at the time of press.
8.34am - UPDATE - Bitcoin steady as Ethereum rises without volatility
Bitcoin's price at $13,600 (£9,882) is up a few dollars on the day so far but a clear pattern is emerging were the price volatility is slowing settling, but heading south.
Ripple is also down at $1.87, a fall from the high of $3.80, but there is a clear pattern of movement either side of the $2 mark at the moment.
However, ethereum is priced at $1,338 and confidence seems more consistent although the price has dipped around so far today between $1390 and $1290 according to Coindesk.
