I have been called out by the dastardly Dirk Galaxy @sequentialvibe to contribute the Steemit Gaming Challenge: Why Games Are Good challenge, where we talk about 4 games that defined our lives. I have been looking to post more about gaming and here is an immediate opportunity!
Back at the dawn of digital gaming...
- Pac-Man: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pac-Man This strange cabinet kept popping up and started everything.
- Space Invaders: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Invaders It showed up at home and changed everything....if you could manage to get dad off the controller.
- Oregon Trail: The school was the only group rich enough for a mobile computer. Old-school adventure.
- Ultima Online https://uo.com/ Single player turned to multiplayer turned to co-op turned to PVP turned MASSIVE.
It is quite a jump from 3-4 but I can list any games without bringing up the best of them all.
Wow I need some retro time! Ok now who should I challenge?
