Things to Come
We’re all gearing up for the launch of the The Crypto Renaissance exhibition in New York with @sndbox’s first cohort and I’ve personally been super humbled by the incredible support and enthusiasm of the Steem community. Doing Steem Park feels like ages ago already, especially in a world as fast as blockchain’s, and these big moments remind of the truly resilient global community that exists here.
For anyone that’s tuning in for the stream of updates or the even special-er individuals that are fully making it out to the show’s opening, you’re in for a feast. The NYC blockchain scene is buzzing with energy and we’re rounding up all the major creatives and crypto-curious professionals to the big event. It’ll be playful, diverse, and way different than the cookie-cutter conferences we see all-too-often and slapped on with high-priced stickers. The Crypto Renaissance will be fully public, no price tag, filled from floor to (almost) ceiling (seeing that they’re 20ft high) with information and engagement, and jammed with fun activities. Crypto doesn’t have to be all FUD and finance, and we’re going to prove to the Big Apple that Steemians do it right.
Anyway, I wanted to take a hot sec to share this awesome portrait done by Zsolt for my donation to the show. @zsolt.vidak has been the illustrative olympian for our The Creative Crypto magazine and his work illustrating all the Steemian donors will really make the show come alive. Our hope is that it’ll put an emphasis on the proof-of-community that make Steem’s so great.
Puahahaa.... I'm lov'n the orange highlights.
Really hope to see you all in and around the show. Big thanks to everyone for their good vibes and support of this big effort. Steem on!
P.S. All the liquid rewards for this post will go right into the show’s budget.
