We recently got back from vacation and we had a COVID exposure. My husband and I have been symptom free, but my son has a slight cough and runny nose. We are being cautious and keeping him home for the next few days until it passes.
That is much easier said than done!
My son is almost 2 and loves to be on the move. I wanted to do something fun with him, so I made some paint and let him paint the windows outside on our back deck!
He loved it!
He was covered in paint, then in water, a complete mess!
But thats where he learns. Thats where he explores. That is where he thrives.
So.. I let him make the mess. Because life- well life can be really messy. But that is also when some of the best memories are made!
If you want to make your own paint- the recipe is SO SIMPLE!👇
1/2c cornstarch
1c dish soap (if its SLS free, it is less sudsy and easier to paint with)
3-4 drops of food coloring
I poured the cornstarch and dish soap mixture into smaller containers before adding food coloring- mix well and have fun!!
Cleans off very easily and did not leave stains on our white door frame!
