5 Blogging Tips for beginners and experienced bloggers

I remember my early days of my blogging adventures on MySpace. I really enjoyed using MySpace as a social network while it was around. I got to meet and learn from lots of people from around the world. I was scouting for new talent, singer song writers and musicians, up and coming bands etc. That's where I really began my social networking journey and blogging.

Back then it was pre Facebook and then suddenly many people were convinced that when Facebook came along it was the place to be for social networking etc, So here's what happened, nearly everyone jumped on board Facebook and then a bunch of other social networking platforms opened up while MySpace shut down. I do miss using the original Myspace.

Now the "new" best place for blogging is on the Hive Blockchain and for good reason too.

I was never really that creative when it comes to writing, I mean, I could sometimes sit for 5 - 10 minutes trying to think of something to write about and come up with nothing. It's not like I never had anything to write about, I had plenty of things to write about but my block was coming up with a title and getting started.

So how did I overcome this mental block?

Well... Just Start... Just begin. "Easier said than done" you might say...

If you had said that to me back when I first started blogging I might even agree... But like anything and everything, the more you do, the better you become.

Today, When I blog, I don't think too much I just do, I don't need to think too much because I just start and the words flow, the story or message I want to deliver is created spontaneously and I always seem to surprise myself with blog posts that seemingly come from nowhere.

The Truth is... I write from learning experiences and from inspiration from others. Maybe this blog post will inspire you to start blogging today or if you are an experienced blogger you might also be inspired to write a blog today.

So here are my 5 tips for Blogging

Don't think too much, just do.
Forget about being perfect and if you struggle with spelling, use google or a dictionary, this will also help you improve your grammar and writing skills.
Write about your skills, your business, your career, your products and services that you offer, current projects or experiences, write about anything that might help to add value to your readers experience.
Use images and info graphics to enhance your blog post, create your own or use royalty free stock. Add your personal or business logo branding to images.
Use a video to add more value and again use your own videos or royalty free stock videos. There are lot's of video apps available now to help you make creative videos.
