- El pequeño pueblo de Santa Rosa, Fomoso por ser el lugar donde se encuentra la sagrada image de la Divia Pastora, la cual cada 14 de enero, realiza su tradicional procesión hacia la catedral de Barquisimeto, para posteriormente, recorrer todas las iglesias de la capital larense. En este pueblo, ademas de visitar el templo, también es posible apreciar las vistas que se ofrecen del valle del turbio y que separa las ciudades de Barquisimeto y Cabudare, esta última ubicada en el municipio Palavecino; cabe destacar que en la plaza Bolívar de este pueblo, se encuentra la única estatua del libertador Simón Bolívar, en la cual aparece sin su caballo y por el contrario se encuentra completamente de pie.

The Obelisk of Barquisimeto is an outstanding monument located in the city of Barquisimeto, being one of the largest representative icons of the state of Lara, Venezuela. It is located west of the city and its construction dates back to 1952, when it was built, to mark the 400th anniversary of the city's founding. The structure consists of a large rectangular base tower 75 meters high, which is composed mainly of concrete and steel, with an internal elevator and a clock at the top.

Se ubica al oeste de la ciudad y su construcción data del año 1952, cuando fue construido, con motivo de los 400 años de la fundación de la ciudad. La estructura consta de una gran torre de base rectangular de 75 metros de altura, la cual está compuesta principalmente de concreto y acero, contando con un ascensor interno y un reloj en el extremo superior.

- Para finalizar este recorrido, el ultimo de los lugares mas reconocidos de la tierra larense, es la llamada Flor de Venezuela, la cual anteriormente fue conocida como Flor de Hannover. La obra fue diseñada por el arquitecto venezolano Fruto Vivas y posee la forma de una orquídea, flor nacional de nuestro país; la característica mas llamativa de la obra es que conforme avanza el día, los pétalos de la flor ascienden o descienden, imitando el movimiento de una orquídea real.
