Wrapping up with Meetups and Philanthropy
@sndbox-alpha is entering the final days of curating Meetups and Philanthropy! For the past month, the Alpha Curation Team has been supporting a broad spectrum of Steemit.com posts on the subject of community activities and donation-based campaigns. There’s still time to submit your own work and initiatives to the curation program by following the guidelines, here.

About Our Rotating Curation Program
@sndbox-alpha is a curation account with rotating themes and liaisons. Each month, a new theme will be announced alongside a new team who will be tasked with upvoting content. “Alpha” is a community account created for the first cohort of the @sndbox incubator; a diverse group of 100 Steemians representing nearly 20 countries and languages.
After some deliberation; 10 core themes were chosen by popular vote among incubator members. These 10 themes (outlined below) will be covered by different curators. The following are the themes that were selected through a recommendation process:

As always, we strive to be 100% transparent for the sake of open critique and public use. The following are our preliminary guidelines for @sndbox-alpha’s use -
- 30,000 SP was delegated from @sndbox to the @sndbox-alpha account.
- No voting on @sndbox posts other than major announcements.
- Majority of curation dedicated to external (non-Sndbox affiliated) accounts.
- Curation practices to be reevaluated on a monthly basis.
- Curation Teams are compensated through 50% of SBD payouts (remaining 50% to be powered up).
- @sndbox retains full ownership of the account’s Steem Power.
A Month of Philosophy, Writing, and Literature
Starting on Monday, the new curation team will be focusing on the specific themes of Philosophy, Writing, and Literature. If you yourself would like to be considered for a vote with related content or know another fabulous writer who works with those themes, be sure to follow @sndbox-alpha account to participate in their submission program and other activities!
