Welcome to the 39th edition of You Got Snekked!

This time we SNEKKED 6 posts and we hope you will have a look at them all! We now have a total of 10 curators (including me) and all I can say is that I am really proud of how this project is growing! Thank you all for the wonderful support!

You Got Snekked does not stop when you become bigger! We believe that everyone on the platform deserves to be curated! We don't look at rep, wallet or if you are new or if you have been here for two years! Manual curation is for everyone in our belief!**

Meet @shadowspub

This week I had the pleasure to talk about this post with @shadowspub during the curation show on You Got Snekked and I have to say that I was right away taken with it.

In her post Shadows tells us about a trip she took with her sister to the Canadian Forces Base Trenton and the Afghanistan Repatriation Memorial. Meet @hadley4

@hadley4 really made my day with this beautiful, elegant piece of art.

Firstly, I recommend taking a look through his entire blog. As I was going through it, I was fascinated by how eclectic his style is... His pencil-work varies from scary cartoon-like monsters with hard lines to beautifully soft scenes like his "Whale" from a few days ago, which I'm in love with.

This piece (Clock) attracted me exactly for it's delicate softness. The high contrast sepia tones give it a warm, comfy feeling that makes me want to cuddle something =) ... And his theme of "appreciate time" is something I strongly relate to - I'm always very conscious of how valuable a commodity time and try not to waste it.

I'm really looking forward to watching @hadley4's progress, both in this year's Inktober challenge and in general. I have followed him and so should you!

Meet @samve

Nuclear energy has always sounded somewhat futuristic and dangerous for me, most of the things I've seen are nuclear bombs, Fukushima, Chernobil, radiation, contamination, hazards, people with radioactive suits and others...

But thanks to @samve I've found out that I was VERY wrong. It turns out that nuclear energy and nuclear reactors are like airplanes, they're uncommon so any accident gets exacerbated and exaggerated but in reality they're pretty safe and are more environment friendly than coal mines and oil platforms.

A modern nuclear reactor is really safe and the danger of an explosion similar to an atomic bomb is near 0 and they produce much more energy than any other reactor to date. These facts and many others are well explained in this post by @samve, don't miss your chance to learn about the possible energy of the future!
