Here is a post from two of my favorite Steemians, @jackdub and @makinstuff. They run this great resource for those of us interested in learning or teaching about offgrid sustaianable lifestyles. They also host a wekely show on @msp-waves every Saturday called Meadows and Makers about DIY, offgrid, sustainable, homesteading related projects.

They are very knowledgable and always willing to take the time to share as much information as they can with the commuity and individuals. Here is a post about one of their offgrid challenges regarding harvesiting fresh water, whether it be by way of rain water collection or wells. Please take the time to give them good ol' Steemit and Snekky love.

Oh my gosh! @shibasaki makes this look easy! I'm now dying to try this out myself.

Watch in awe as he teaches you how to paint a beautiful landscape with watercolours... There are step-by-step images, or, if video is more your thing, he has one of those too =) ... It's mesmerizing to watch and the end result is gorgeous!

If I were you @shibasaki, I would create a #landscapechallenge and see how many people will participate... Perhaps offer a prize or something ^- ... Thank you for sharing that - I definitely learnt a lot.

Meet @@@cryptoslicex!

Cryptoslicex is an Australian who loves his crypto and he continues in this line with a discussion on ZKS which was dropped on all EOS holders recently. The token appeared in Genereos on the airgrab section for quite a while however for most people it was impossible to access.

Everyone got 31 ZKS regardless of the amount of EOS you had which was a bit odd. How you use this token is a bit strange too. it seems you rent EOS CPU power for 3 hours with it. Not particularly sure. However Cryptoslicex goes into a bit of detail on it.

Meet@father2b!

Ok well the only reason I am pushing this post is because I currently live in the UK, this is a festival that is only celebrated in the UK and people from other countries don’t know about it. Father2b writes about Guy Fawkes Night (Dumbledore’s pet was named after this person) which is on November 5th.

This is the main firework festival in the UK and bonfires get built on every scrap of bare land. Usually mannequins of politicians are thrown on these fires which is a very good reason to hold similar events all around the world. However the history behind this “celebration” is rather more grizzly. Click and read for some history.
