Wow, today is moving fast! :)
Hard to keep up some days but we will get there. I managed to speak to Nathan this morning Japan, was great to chat to him about what he would like to see happen on dtube. As someone who posts video there to both get exposure and the financial incentive I’ve been wanting to go deeper into the community there seeing as the dlive community ended up being what it was — I’m over it now, I move on quickly — it’s a shame but it is what it is, right, no point crying over spilled milk and all that (do you know this expression?)
you see I had a routine everyday when I would post my video, part of my day to day activities, a bit like having admin/life chores — call them ways to centre myself by making (being creative) remembering, like nursery for adults, putting shapes through the right holes on the board to learn motor functions as a child — that’s how most days I wake my brain up by stepping through the routine.
when dlive went, it left a little hole that I had to plug up twice as much with that time block and that’s why ended up hosting the top10 and the vlog on @dtube — I wish dtube would have a pro account feature that we could pay monthly for like cloud backup service on AWS or something for faster downloads (security that we know it’s there in a few years time) — I always feel like after a month IPFS kinda just falls off — feels non permanent, where as dlive was on the amazon cloud.
Anyway, focus up mouser! :)
Had a great chat with Nathan about all things dtube and life in general, bit of his backstory and a bit about mine from our different perspectives, it was interesting to talk and we probably spent a good amount talking, it felt easy and relaxed, similar to the majority of interactions I’ve had with steemians — it’s interesting to note that the 1% I don’t get on with are the opposite 1% from the centralised world — interesting that eh? :)
This morning I’ve been progressively uncoupling so much stuff, it’s been liberating and freeing and exciting, I’m actually loving my admin management again, feel like I’m unbundling from legacy of the last decade of the ‘social media era’ — it’s gonna take time, maybe about a month to re-write a bit of that history and put myself in a good place — I’ve been doing some digging out as well in terms of setting up a llc in the states for the stateside ideas me and dayle — let’s call it super infrastructure based.
Today is going fast, I’ll probably only have time to get my vlog in today because it normally takes me a while to put together the top 10 and I simply don’t have enough time to make it until later on, I’ve got a few real life chores to do — I’m certainly looking forward to distancing myself from the desktop computer and going towards a more mobility based making life.
Even thou things are kinda manic, I’m really enjoying the adaptation process, maybe it was something I’ve been needing to do for the longest time but just did not give into it until now?
