so we are in first place right now with with 7449 votes, i’m not sure how many of those are fake emails, or made up VPN made account signups, let’s hope not many, now is not the time for stopping — now is the time to get every single person who is active on the steem blockchain to be aware of this — maybe with a top bar on the site like we had when hf20 was being deployed, i don’t think people realise how actually big this thing is.
gonetcoins.com could be a big deal, it would be the first time that the steem blockchain currency steem/sbd would be on an ATM (as far as i know) i know we have a few places that accept it via POS terminals (dedicated or phones) but to have an actually grouping of machines in a country (canadian mainly, you know the people that just made weed legal!) with the ability to exchange steem into other cryptos and visa versa, that’s huge.
it’s a no-brainer for the steemians right now but could really give the chain some massive momentum, especially when people globally realise we have no transaction fees and the transfer happens on the chain in around 3 seconds — any exposure is good exposure in my mind.
just imagine being able to go to an ATM and trade with your steem on your own digital wallet on your phone for bitcoin or fiat in that country, imagine having one of these ATM’s accepting steem crypto in a weed shop, i’m pretty sure they are gonna be doing a lot of business between now especially and into the new year — ain’t it time to get a canadian visa? :)
so yeah, ask around, ask your friends, get those emails in because even thou we are in first place i’m sure they will be going through a process of removing emails that look weird and we have a very close second place, now is not the time to slack off, now is the time to open up your favourite social media website and drop a message to a bunch of your contacts on Facebook asking them for your help.
think of it like this, if steem becomes accepted to be the next currency on these ATM’s in canadian it won’t be that difficult to get ATM machines setup in your local area and your favourite small business on the high street, i’m certainly up for setup up a UK arm with the assistance of net coins to get it off the ground, i wonder how much it costs to upgrade some of those older style machines? — maybe the first person we talk to is the company that rolled them out to every service service on the motorways? :)
