I was going...
I was going to write today’s Dash on something positive but it seems that it will have to wait. Organized crime rings are up to no good again here and I feel compelled to discuss it.
Had I not heard the morning news report my Dash would have been along the lines of “smile about something”. Smiles cost nothing to give and when those are given can really make someone’s day that is on the receiving end of that smile. I might come back to this “smile“ thing if I don’t drag this on too long.
The leaders of...
The leaders of the major cities in Texas have been busy these past few days committing felony after felony.
Even though it is being reported on the news casts of both radio and television I’ve yet to hear a report of the Texas Rangers or the US Marshall’s being called in to break up this crime ring. Of course the news casts aren’t reporting it as “felonies” ; it is up to people like me to figure that out.
News reports say that officials of the cities of Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio have been talking together planning to issue orders that face masks must be worn again to prevent another uptick in COVID cases. The Fox26 Houston television station even said that Harris County Judge Lena Hidalgo is in on this too. I am not surprised by that either.
We've already been...
We’ve already been down this road before and the Texas Supreme Court ruled that these cities and counties didn’t have the authority to infringe on our personal liberty by forcing us to wear masks under threat of arrest and fine. The key two words in that last sentence are “personal liberty”.
Living (as in” alive”) folks have the God given right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and those rights are protected. Businesses on the other hand have no rights; they only have privileges (licenses) to operate and those are issued by government.
So those cities previously mentioned are going to mandate that in order for businesses to remain open the business must require their customers wear face masks while in the business.
Failure on the business owner to require masks can lead to major fines and all the way up to revoking the business license and forcing the business to shutter their doors. Actions like this are pure extortion by these cities and by talking with each other to plan this extortion these city leaders have committed criminal conspiracy.
Government can't infringe...
Government can’t infringe on the rights of people so they have resorted to making business owners use their “private property rights” to do the government’s dirty work for them under threat of losing their livelihood.
If that isn’t extortion I will kiss your ass on the public square.
Breaking news right now reports that Dallas, Bexar and Hidalgo counties have issued the same type mandate to businesses just in the last 30 minutes.
I'm going to...
I’m going to spell it out for you in simple language and with no “sugar coating”. This COVID situation has nothing to do with ‘protecting the people’ it have everything to do with power and control.
Texas is a large state and the majority of the people don’t live in the major cities and counties. So the state as a whole is “red” when it comes to voting; but those cities mentioned here by name are “blue” and so are those counties for the most part “blue”. We are just a little over four months from the November elections and this action is meant to create chaos leading up to the elections.
Right now parts of Texas seem to be a throwback to the Nazi way of doing things that lead up to World War II in my opinion.
I wrote a fictional story one time back on FIRED about a civil war taking place here in Texas sometime in the future where the people decided enough was enough and a small group of real Texians decide it was time to make Texas an independent country again.
Is this the time when fiction becomes reality?
Until next time,
