One hour, one hour is all I have to get this written, posted and have my virtual butt parked at the poker table for the start of the new Team Up poker season on @spl. As slow as I am with things it might just be these two sentences and call it good.

Yesterday I did get into a chat with our lovely friend Ceci or as some of you know her, “Mamma Castor” who lives down in Nicaragua. We tried the phone call thing but that didn’t work out as I could never figure out to get the damn microphone to un-mute. You people think I am kidding when I say that I am challenge with technology stuff but I truly am when it comes to some things.
There were only ...
There were only two places on that discord that showed a microphone and no matter how damn hard I clicked on them, those bastards were not giving up keeping me from being able to be heard.
I think I will have to have T-Bone show me how to get that working correctly so I can actually talk next time.
So here is the...
So here is the latest that I got from Ceci on just what is going on down there. A couple of days ago they had live mortars flying over their compound and landing behind it by about 400 yards. She said it was terrifying for them, especially the young ones but they didn’t take any hits to the compound and there is nothing behind them but a an old salt flat so the only thing those mortars did was shake the ground and make them very uneasy about where the next one might land.
More foreign activity...
She said that there seems to more foreign activity taking place there now. She said that both China and Russia are down there now and there seems to be several new construction projects starting taking place, she doesn’t know what these sites are or who is funding them but something is going on and it involves those countries mentioned.
The bank is still...
The bank is still screwing them and the inflation is increasing. The bank won’t convert US money right now and the bank determines what their currency is worth, so it is a guzbucking mess financially.
Her son still...
Her son still has not been able to make it to the family compound but they have a plan in the works that could hopefully fall into place by the end of the month. If that were to happen then they will look at getting an exit strategy planned. She did say that the Honduras border is 90 miles from them and while getting people out of the country isn’t easy there is guns and ammunition coming in from there so they might need to make a run for more of both of those.
She wanted me...
She wanted me to tell all of you that she can’t wait for the day she can get back on here and tell her story in her words. Right now though it isn’t safe and the internet is being throttled where it just does work enough to get a few messages out in discord.
The garden did...
The garden did get planted and is surviving, this was the fourth crop they got planted this year and she said having veggies and fruit makes all the difference in the world both nutrition wise and mentally. The two goats and twenty five chickens are also doing their part as well to keep them fed and nourished.
US embassy has closed...
She said that the US embassy has closed up and Canada never had one there so there isn’t really any foreign government help they can look for. I think her son may be US citizen, but I am not sure.
How am I doing on time? That badly huh, okay.

So keep Ceci and her family in your prayers if you would and I will continue to update you as I hear from her.

I have a couple minutes left but I need to square a couple things away before the game starts; I can’t be expected to play on an empty stomach can I? So I am calling this a Daily Dose for Sunday and hopefully I will be back later tonight or in the morning and bring you up to speed on other things.
