David Goggins is an American ultramarathon runner, ultra-distance cyclist, and triathlete. He also served in the United States Navy SEALs for ten years (1995–2005). His book "Can't Hurt Me" was published on May 30, 2018, by St. Martin's Press. It debuted at No. 14 on The New York Times Best Seller list of nonfiction eBooks sold in June 2018; it remained on that list through January 2019 when it dropped to #30 after falling out of Amazon's Top 100 books overall early in December 2018. He currently holds three Guinness World Records: Most pullups in a 24-hour period (male) at 43,001; most pullups for 48 hours straight with no sleep at 11,482; and the “longest distance traveled to complete 100 push-ups on the front page of The New York Times”. He is also one of only 19 people ever to finish the ultra-endurance event Badwater Ultramarathon.
David Goggins was born November 13th 1976 in San Diego California he grew up living with his mom David had never known his father David was raised by many different members of family including foster homes this lead David down some dark paths as an adolescent but eventually David moved back into his moms house where she started getting him involved in sports
