About dCity
dCity is a mathematical and trading game based on non-fungible tokens available on Hive-Engine. Players build their own cities with tokens representing buildings, citizens, technologies, and earn income in the form of HIVE (based on ranking) and SIM token (based on city income). There are also cards that players can get only from playing the game like technologies, backgrounds and prevention cards.
Aging rate
Aging rate is a new mechanism we are introducing to dCity. Its action will be based on the change from Sick Citizen cards to Retired Citizen and Young Citizen cards to Student. It is a mechanism that is intended to have an impact on the game over a long time horizon (years) and its intensity will be partly adjustable by the President. The formula for the Aging rate looks as follows:
(0.001 * total sick citizens) + president option (10-100)
Since the introduction of Experiments, the number of Sick Citizens keeps increasing and currently exceeds 76k cards.
This way citizens cycle will depend from players, and need for Population in game.
In addition, a new Combined Building is being added with the new mechanism. It is a Retirement Home and to combine it you will need:
1x Construction Site
2x Free Internet Connection
1x Restaurant
3x Basic Home
1x Barracks
1x Graveyard
40x Retired citizen
Retirement Home attributes:
Population 5
Income -10
Popularity 20
Required workers 10
Retirement Home gives 25 Tax Refund.
Retired Citizens not combined in Retirement Home will slowly change to Dead Citizens with negative income and popularity.
With further updates, it will be possible to combine group of Dead Citizens into Bones then load into Graveyard for Tax Refund.

The last poll we closed was to change the Tax Refund on the Student (debt) card from 1 to -1. If you want to cast your vote in future polls all you need to do is join the SIM Club - you must have at least 1 million SIM Power.
Student education cost update
Another minor change is the increase in the cost of completing Education for the Student (debt) card. From now on this cost is 70 SIM per card.
