About dCity
dCity is a mathematical and trading game based on non-fungible tokens available on Hive-Engine. Players build their own cities with tokens representing buildings, citizens, technologies, and earn income in the form of HIVE (based on ranking) and SIM token (based on city income). There are also cards that players can get only from playing the game like technologies, backgrounds and prevention cards.
Education, Creativity halving
From now players need more education and creativity for technologies and backgrounds.
80 education for 1% chance for technology
160 creativity for 1% chance for background or animation
Forthcoming updates
Already implemented:
- increase of maximum income tax reduction in Lobby to -50%.
Along with the new in-game mechanics and the voting system among the members of The SIMillionaire Club, other smaller updates will be introduced in the near future. At the moment these are:
- the cost of rolling a Student (debt) card will increase by +10 SIM every month, starting in May
- change in the education tax as a range from 0% to 5%
- change in the war tax as a range from 0% to 10%
- changes in the issuing system of free citizens depending on the level of the war tax (the higher the tax, the more popularity is needed)
End of 2nd edition card minting
In 2 weeks from the date of this post, the 2nd edition of cards will be closed. At that time, you will no longer be able to mint any more cards from this edition and the only method available to purchase cards will be through the Market. For this reason, it is worthwhile to stock up on some useful cards, which can be crucial in city development or during high taxes/war.
Such cards may be:
- Law firm (reduces tax by 10%)
- Hospital (increases population by 1%)
- Research center (required to discover technologies)
- Military industrial complex (gives 1 war share)
- Social aid office (decreases social support costs by 100)
