About dCity
dCity is a mathematical and trading game based on non-fungible tokens available on Hive-Engine. Players build their own cities with tokens representing buildings, citizens, technologies, and earn income in the form of HIVE (based on ranking) and SIM token (based on city income). There are also cards that players can get only from playing the game like technologies, backgrounds and prevention cards.
Datacenter buildings
The new Combined Buildings will have variable properties and abilities, which will be determined by token holders in different ways. In order to mint these cards you will need an item that we recently introduced - Bag of SIM. This is a limited to 20K card that will be needed for the new series of Combined Buildings being introduced in the future. Bag of SIM will cost 20K SIM to mint.
Datacenters are one of the building types that will be introduced. To create them you will need HIVE/ETH/BTC Mining technology:
- HIVE Datacenter
- ETH Datacenter
- BTC Datacenter
Each network will have network points, which will be collected by holders - probably the limit of points will be 1000. For each point the network will receive +1 Income and +1 Popularity. To gain points, players (Datacenters holders) will have to complete quests. Every reward cycle (24h) 1 random holder from each network is chosen to complete a daily quest. The quest will consist of supplying the network with several random or selected technologies - this way the network will get 1 network point.
The role of Hackers will also be important. Instead of a direct PvP model (players steal points between networks), a Job system for Hackers will most likely be introduced. Every day a random Job will be assigned and players will be able to add Hackers to complete the Job.
Jobs examples with network to pick (HIVE/ETH/BTC)
- Hackathon - adds 5 points for network
- Hack DeFi platform - adds 5 points for network, removes 2 from other networks
- Bug bounty - adds 3 points for network
- Giveaway - removes 5 points from network, airdrop 3 CHAOS packs to random participating Hackers
Hackers
From now on Students can turn into a Hacker after paying debt. The chance for this is 0.5% (for example a chance for Lawyer card is 1%). Hackers will have between 1 and 5 Education points - they will represent different skills and their education level will be used to calculate Job outcome. Hackers will slowly turn into Criminals.
Education points for Hackers can be rolled over (range 2 to 5). The cost of rolling is 1000 ENTRY. To change a Hacker education points, send 1000 ENTRY tokens to the dcitygame account with the Hacker NFT ID in the memo.
The SIMillionaire Club updates
For some time now, Club members can claim Students each day using a command on the Discord channel. Claim may or may not be successful, depending on building check.
We are also slowly changing the membership requirement for The SIMillionaire Club. Over the next few days it will be required to have at least 1 million SIM Power, instead of 1 million tokens in the Engine wallet or liquidity pool. This way is much more transparent and will allow us to automate certain processes (such as giveaways etc).
The ENTRY Shop
We are preparing The ENTRY Shop, where players will be able to spend ENTRY tokens on NFT from other projects. A Hacker card will be required to use the shop. So far the shop is in the testing phase and a demo interface is available for SIMillionaires.
