Seems there are plenty of people out there today applauding the grand standing of Rand Paul against Dr. Fauci yesterday. Problem with it is the total lack of honesty by either one of them. If Rand doesn't understand the biology of how a virus mutates then he probably should lose his license to practice. As far as Dr. Fauci is concerned he's just totally dishonest. It could actually end up that covid may finally bring about the downfall of this evil man. It isn't his medical knowledge that cements his position it's what he holds on our government and his complicity to go along with using humans in experimental procedures where the long term detrimental harms are unknown. Western society may prove more unforgiving then third world countries. With any luck they'll reach out to slap that smirking smugness right off his face.
I'll admit I am still quite behooved by our political landscape the last few years. We use to have elections and afterwards people would just sit around moaning and complaining for four years, now it seems more like a game of political football where one side comes in for a touchdown and everyone starts hooraying. Perfect example of this was yesterday with Rand Paul. The headlines todays raving about Rands takedown of Dr. Fauci. Objectively speaking though both of them were lacking transparency. It's these often trivial I got you games that continues to set off alarms bells about the whole lot of them. I haven't quite figured out if they think some of us are stupid, all of us are stupid or they, if the game if played right, can suppress enough truth to make us stupid.
Maybe Rand Paul has been into politics to long as to have forgotten how one's immune system works. Over the years practicing medicine he's given out enough flu shots to know that each year those shots are like a shot in the dark by the medical community as to which virus is going to be prevalent that year. He surely must understand being a medical professional the difficulties involved as to why there isn't or has never been developed a universal influenza vaccine that encompasses all influenza viruses. The types, variables and mutations have made it a challenge. He must also understand what imprinting means. That's when our body first encounters a virus and our immune system basically imprinting that virus into our immune system which our innate immune system can then recognize and respond.
Further complicating the quest for a universal flu vaccine is the fact that our immune system is strongly biased by its earliest encounters with influenza through a phenomenon called imprinting — or, as it has been dubbed, ‘original antigenic sin’. This means that individuals have a strong antibody response to viruses with molecular features shared by the strain encountered during their first exposure
If Rand understands that he must also be aware of this:
but they essentially start from scratch when exposed to distantly related strains for the first time. “It’s not that you cannot see the second virus — it’s just like you’re a baby and you’re seeing it for the first time,” says Crowe.
Imprinting is a double-edged sword because early exposure to the right strain could theoretically produce far-reaching and vigorous protection in response to vaccination. But if a child’s first influenza encounter is with a relatively unusual or atypical strain, vaccination might prove less effective in terms of rousing broadly protective immunity.
Unless Rand got his medical degree outside of a Cracker Jack box when Dr Fauci said the word variants he'd caught him on that. The fact is that bolstering the immune system after an initial infection helps the body fight off variant strains, the bodies innate immune system is like a blue print to the virus, you can make changes to bolster the blue print but it is less effective to make the body recognize a product before a blue print has been established. That's essentially what this vaccine is, a product. It's like telling the body when you see the blue print come along match it, fight it. Problem is if another blue print comes along that doesn't quite match the body immune system may not kick in as planned. When such as this occurs it could lead to devastating consequences, if the immune system is lacks in it's response it leaves the door open for a full on frontal assault by the variant, once that variant kicks ass so to speak it may end of walking away a whole lot stronger.
These are what are known as vaccine derived mutated strains. This is the quiet part that they obviously are afraid to admit to people. This would had led to finally catching the deceptive evil Dr Fauci in his tracks. Why he didn't who knows. Dr. Fauci is fully aware of what happens when a vaccine underperforms and the consequences. With millions of people in this world and the many variable that can play into this he fully understood the dangers involved if a vaccine underperformed in some individuals. There was one woman in the news the other day who had gotten covid and suffered ongoing aliments from it for months, then she got the vaccine and her ailments disappeared. The vaccine bolstered her innate immune system to finished off the effects of the virus. Here's another story only the body wasn't one that was vaccinated the guy was on immune suppressors for an immune disorder. He got the covid, not only did he get the covid he got not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven but eight different variants of covid. These scientist stating how smart this virus was, like they were calling up their buddies on the phone telling them to come over and have a try at taking this son of a bleep and his immune suppressors down. All the while they're on the phone calling in number five the scientist are in the lab mixing antibody cocktails to kick their butts. I guess number eight gave them a run for their money, it was super antibody cocktail time for him, a process known as affinity maturation....and guess what?.... it's the principle behind vaccine booster shots used to fortify existing antibodies. Aye yes, how very wrong Dr. Fauci was, how very, very wrong. Maybe wrong is the wrong word to use, it's not like he didn't know what would happen if a vaccine wasn't effective enough it can create vaccine derived variants as seen with Ebola in Africa , or that some vaccines could teach pathogens to become more deadly as seen with this study done with chickens. The article linked above and this story seems to suggest that once Pandora's Box is opened it'll be a continued vaccine race to stay ahead of the virus.
I know I am really perplexed at their level of dishonesty. At least now we know why Europe is in a mist of shutting down. They were out ahead of us vaccination wise. They know the trick to conquering the spread of variants at this point is to get as many people vaccinated before more variants can spread. If it's not to late, the variants are already pretty wide spread, they may actually be in the chicken phase. Let's hope not we're to intertwined of a world. The rationalization we should have just let people acquire innate immunity and foster that we may be able to climb out of it. I am not totally confident given we are at the Eek stage. I mean you really have to admit that they'd give our first home grown variant the name Eek we may actually be in for a world of hurt. That's about as honest as I've seen them be so far. Hopefully we won't reach the "Holy Fluck!" stage. As far as Dr Fauci and Rand Paul is concerned, if you ask me, it's all smoke and mirrors. I wouldn't put my faith in either one of them.
