putin is a respected and well supported leader in his country. the same is true of assad. i don't preemptively enter your house and tell everyone that you are a threat to them, because it is your fucking house, and none of my business. not seeing how silly this excuse of humanitarian intervention is makes up 99% of the problem. assad has been waging a civil war against insurgent groups. the loss of civilian life has been a terrible side effect, but not his fault, and certainly more controlled than anywhere coalition forces have bombed (see raqqa, mosul, etc, and explain how the loss of civilian life is tolerable to you there, where it exceeds that of places in syria liberated by saa and assad/russia). by the way, you know russia was asked into the country, and the usa is there as an invader, right? wanting to have a big bad wolf running russia is nothing more than a scare tactic to get otherwise thinking and caring people to support bombing and killing children for profit (see, i.e. yemen). you apparently fell for it. did you fear russia 6 years ago, when obama told us we would have to be idiots to fear russia? no? then you have been propagandized. if you think assad needs to be overthrown, but you are okay giving the house of saud 110 billion in weapons, so they can (with our logistical support) continue to destroy yemen, with our very own white phosphorus being powdered down on people like chemical weaponry is going out of style, then you are in fact the monster you claim assad to be. you also know saudi arabia has a habit of cutting the heads off of people for protesting against the royal family, yes? claiming them to be allies while disparaging assad is not just stupid and immoral, it is disgusting. look at what life was like in syria before 2011. it was considered the jewel of the middle east, with general prosperity and harmonious intermixing of many religions. you, personally, destroyed that. if every last thing in the usa was running perfectly, it still would not be our place to go over-throwing democratically elected leaders in other countries. and everything here, incidentally, is not fine. unfortunately the democratic/republican party is made up almost entirely of child murderers and racists that have somehow convinced themselves that despite being nothing more than the grease in the cogs of a machine that makes money off of dropping bombs, they are somehow of superior moral fiber, to everyone else. one creates an enemy to justify being a fucking pig; it allows one to pretend like they are better than some other human on the planet, and makes them, ultimately, think those that are different are worthy of destruction. it is a weak, sad, pathetic and destructive position, and expresses everything that has gone wrong with our country. the lack of ability to discern nuance has left people thinking they have a delicate sense of understanding, when in fact their shared brain is a ham-handed organ incapable of such intricacy. you are nothing more than a racist, a bigot and a child murder if you voted for a democrat of republican in the last presidential election. peace (learn it).
