We fix anything around here! Having 3 decades of professional experience pushing buttons or turning a driver on THINGS gives us very little fear of taking on projects : )
We can’t fix ‘em all...
Sometimes it’s a simple $25 inspection fee to say no, we really can’t do that, sorry.
Sometimes there are intense feelings involved and apparently computers to parse through 71 messages… Anyway.
Thursdays was a great example with a happy ending!
Hey ink, can you put these 4 USB sticks of MP3s on my iPod?
Shouldn’t be a problem : )
It wasn’t, but DANG… Did it take a while to see the sweet-sweet notification of 82.3 GB of remaining storage!!! Happy Pi Day ~This Might Help
The iPod kept asking me to set it up once I synced the music library and said it was safe to unplug.
Welcome Screen (set language) and it would still display
Settings > 0 KB Free
displaying “0 KB Used 0 KB Free”
I tried to reset the iPod, but finally ended up placing the unit into disk mode plugging it back into the Air and with Finder I was able to download the recovery software.
Hold MENU and SELECT together until it reboots
Hold REWIND and SELECT as it comes back up.
You can run dignostances, and if you get stuck at one of the tests (HP being Headphone / FW being Firewire) and don’t have those cables handy…
Just hold in MENU and SELECT again until it reboots… note to self
