I was asked the last few days several times why I emigrated from my country and if I miss it. The answers to the two questions are very long and difficult to answer.
In a nutshell and very superficially said, for a better life and for the second question, only if it refers to some people.
I will only write a few of my thoughts on this. I was born in a mixt family where several languages have been spoken from the beginning and the parents have educated us (my sister and I) in such a way that we look at a human as what he is, not at his origin. Statehood is rather unimportant for me, the only thing that gives me the statehood is the ability to own a passport to travel to other countries. National pride does not matter to me because it was not my choice where I was born in the world. Yes, you should take care of your country and always try to improve your environment, but that does not matter which country it is.
My country of birth is beautiful and I can compare it with the picture from above, it is nice but unfortunately most people who live there do not appreciate it and do not pay attention to their environment. I rarely speak politically but what's going on is totally irrational. And it's not about to the politicians, but to the people who have chosen them. I can not believe that the country is run by the people who have led the poorest region in the country for over 20 years. I would not give them any responsibility, but they were chosen by the people who do not understand a thing and unfortunately most of them are like this. It does not matter that a handful of young people want to change something and want to look to the future as long as the majority opts for something else. I made my decision and emigrated. Just as a fact, after Syria most emigrants in the world are from Romania, which is not a country under war.
The emigration brings a systemic disease, because the first ones who emigrated were the well-educated people, who are fully integrated and who are not seen in their country of adoption. For example, Romania has lost a third of its doctors to other states, especially to Germany, France and the United Kingdom. The same is true for the engineers. The country thus has no future or at least no sunny future.
Of course there are people who emigrated with whom I am ashamed and sometimes feel the urge to appologise for them. There is also a minority that can not be integrated and with which most Romanians are confused but which has an Indian origin and about which I do not want to speak now.
Yes, there is a hint of hope because there are many who fight against the system. I was sick of it and I do not feel like fighting for. Many who have not experienced this do not understand it. It's not about the salary, which in some areas like software development can be the same or maybe higher in Romania. I'm talking about social interaction. You have to bribe people almost everywhere. If you want to go to the doctor, you have to bribe everyone to be seen by a doctor. The police stops you, either you know someone you can call quickly or it comes to the bribe. The same applies to all authorities. Where else in the world does one hear that the online forms to be submitted in person at the office X on the street Y at the time Z ? Online form that you have to print and submit in person. There are also good sites, of course, such as the Internet, which comes completely from private companies and is much faster and freer than in Germany, but only for Internet in one country to live I find it exaggerated.
I was fed up with the bribe and relationship-based economy!
But that's not the only reason, and will come back in another post on the others.
As already mentioned, I am not bound to a place or land. It may sound egotistical, and maybe it is, I go where my wife and I can live for the best. That does not mean that I am not attentive to my environment where I am and trying to integrate in it.
To the question of whether I do not miss it I can only say that I miss a few people, my family and best friends. There are also a few places I like to visit, but this places are everywhere in the world.

ich wurde die letzten Tage mehrmals gefragt warum ich ausgewandert bin aus mein Land und ob ich es nicht vermisse. Die Antworten für die zwei Fragen sind sehr lang und schwer zu beantworten.
Kurz gefasst aber das ist sehr oberflächlich gesagt, für ein besseres Leben und bei der zweiten Frage, ja wenn es sich auf einige Leute bezieht.
Ich werde jetzt nur ein paar meiner Gedanken dazu schreiben. Bin in einer Mischling Familie geboren wo es von Anfang an mehrere Sprachen gesprochen worden sind und die Eltern haben uns (meine Schwester und ich) so erzogen das wir auf den Menschen schauen, nicht auf seiner Herkunft. Staatlichkeit ist eher unwichtig für mich, das einzige was mir die Staatlichkeit gibt ist die Möglichkeit ein Pass zu besitzen um andere Länder zu erkundigen. Nationalstolz spielt für mich keine Rolle weil es ist nicht meine Wahl gewesen wo ich auf der Welt gekommen bin. Ja, man sollte auf sein Land aufpassen und sein Umwelt immer versuchen zu verbessern, aber das spielt keine Rolle welches es ist.
Mein Geburtsland ist schön und ich kann es mit das Bild von oben vergleichen, es ist schön aber leider die meisten Menschen die dort wohnen schätzen es nicht und passen auf ihr Umwelt nicht auf. Ich äußere mich eher selten politisch aber was da abgeht ist total irrational. Und es liegt nicht an den Politiker sondern an den Menschen die diese gewählt haben. Ich kann es nicht fassen das das Land geführt wird von den Leuten die über 20 Jahre die ärmste Region des Landes geführt haben. Ich würde denen keine Verantwortung geben, aber die wurden gewählt von den Leuten die nichts verstehen und leider die meisten sind so. Es spielt keine Rolle das eine Hand voll junge Leute etwas ändern möchten und auf die Zukunft schauen wollen so lange die Mehrheit für diese entscheidet. Ich habe meine Entscheidung getroffen und bin ausgewandert. Nur so als Fakt, nach Syrien die meisten Auswanderer sind aus Rumänien, was kein Land unter Krieg ist.
Die Auswanderung bringt eine systemische Krankheit, weil die ersten die ausgewandert sind waren die Leute die gut ausgebildet sind die sich völlig integrieren und die man nicht sieht. Zum Beispiel Rumänien hat ein drittel seiner Ärzte verloren an andere Staaten vor allem Deutschland, Frankreich und Großbritannien. Bei den Ingenieure ist es genauso. Das Land hat somit keine Zukunft oder zumindest keine sonnige Zukunft.
Es sind auch Leute ausgewandert mit denen ich mich schäme. Es gibt auch eine Minderheit die sich nicht integrieren lässt und mit der die meisten Rumänen verwechselt werden aber welche einen indischen Ursprung hat und über ich die jetzt nicht sprechen möchte.
Ja, es gibt ein hauch von Hoffnung weil es gibt viele die gegen das System kämpfen. Ich war satt und habe kein Bock drauf. Viele die das nicht erlebt haben verstehen es nicht. Es geht nicht um das Gehalt, was in einigen Gebiete wie Software Entwicklung gleich oder vielleicht auch höher in Rumänien sein kann. Ich spreche über das soziale Umgang. Man muss fast überall die Leute bestechen. Will man zum Arzt gehen, muss man alle bestechen damit dich ein Arzt ansieht. Stoppt dich die Polizei, genau entweder kennt man jemand den man schnell anrufen kann oder es kommt die Schmiere. Bei allen Behörden geht es genau so. Wo anders in der Welt hört man das die Online Formulare an dem Büro X auf der Str. Y um die Uhrzeit Z abzugeben sind? Online Formular das man ausdrucken muss und persönlich abgeben muss. Es gibt auch gute Seiten, klar, wie zum Beispiel das Internet was völlig von privaten Unternehmen kommt und viel schneller und freier als das in Deutschland ist, aber nur für Internet in einem Land zu leben finde ich es übertrieben.
Ich war der Bestechung und der auf Beziehungen basierte Wirtschaft satt!
Das ist aber nicht der einzige Grund, und werde zurückkommen in einem anderen Beitrag auf die anderen.
Wie schon erwähnt bin ich nicht gebunden an einem Platz oder Land. Es mag egoistisch klingen und vielleicht ist es auch so, ich gehe wo es mir und meiner Frau am besten gehen kann. Das bedeutet nicht das ich da wo ich bin nicht aufmerksam bin auf meinem Umfeld und versuche mich zu integrieren.
Zur Frage ob ich nicht Sehnsucht habe kann ich nur sagen das ich ein paar Leute vermisse, meine Familie und die beste Freunde. Es sind auch ein paar Plätze die ich gerne besichtige, aber die gibt es überall.
Vielleicht komme ich nächste Woche wieder auf das Thema zurück. Wollte das jetzt schreiben weil mich ein paar Leute auch im Discord darüber gefragt haben.
