Egal ob Du täglich eine größere Entfernung mit dem Auto oder dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr zurückzulegen hast, Google Maps hält - nach dem aktuell anstehenden Update - in der neuen "Pendler-Rubrik" einen umfangreichen Service bereit.
Bist Du mit dem eigenen Fahrzeug unterwegs, erhältst Du nach preisgabe deines täglichen Ziels sowie deines Abfahrtortes Informationen zu eventuellen Hindernissen, die zurzeit deine normale Fahrzeit beeinträchtigen könnten. Wir kennen einen ähnlichen Service bereits von verschiedenen Radiosendern, die sich ebenfalls darum bemüht zeigen, euch pünktlich auf eurer Arbeitsstelle erscheinen zu lassen.
Benutzt Du für dein Vorankommen den öffentlichen Nahverkehr so erhälst Du darüber ähnlich geartete Nachrichten. Auch hier ist es bei Beachtung der Ratschläge, dass zu spät zur Arbeit kommen, zwar immer noch möglich, aber eben wesentlich erschwert. :-) So ist es halt wenn die für die Einhaltung der Fahrzeiten Verantwortlichen, ihrer Aufgabe nicht nachkommen, muss von dritter Seite Abhilfe geschaffen werden.
Vernetzung mit anderen Services
Wer auf seinen Fahrten gerne Musik über "Play Music", "Spotify" oder "Apple Music" hört, kann nach dem nächsten Google Maps Update die - während des Musikgenusses eventuell notwendig werdenden - Einstellungsveränderungen direkt innerhalb von Google Maps vornehmen.

Commuters should enjoy this update
No matter if you have to cover a greater distance by car or public transport every day, Google Maps offers - after the current update - a comprehensive service in the new "Commuter section".
If you are traveling with your own vehicle, you will receive information about possible obstacles that could affect your normal travel time at the moment after you have revealed your daily destination and your departure point. We already know a similar service from various radio stations, which are also making an effort to get you to your workplace on time.
If you use public transport for your progress, you will receive similar messages.
