Why testing matters: V4V value payments on Hive

I just wanted to give you a little insight into why I'm talking about the work I'm doing on @v4vapp for a somewhat technical audience but not fully shouting about it for the wider audience yet.

Below are the counts of streaming Lightning payments which my dapp has sent to a few Hive users over the last 72 hours which include payments to @theycallmedan @scottcbusiness @meremortals @decentracast @bil.prag @the-bitcoin-dood. This post is in part an explanation to these people in case you didn't know why you were getting flooded with micropayments!

Right now I'm sending one Hive payment for every Lightning invoice I receive.

If you want to look at a block explorer like the one from @ausbitbank, you can see every one of these payments on the account of @v4vapp. Right now I'm sending these messages unencrypted, that may change.

But having run the system for a few days it's pretty apparent that I need to batch these payments. This will get super annoying for a big podcaster if they're receiving thousands of these messages a day.

So first thing on Sunday I'll be hard at work re-organising things to make sure I send far fewer messages (but the same overall value) and try to communicate the minutes listened by the audience.
