If it looks stupid but works, it isn't stupid.
Rainbow Man's shitty spiritual advice for the time being HA HA!
When you don't have a machete, or a weed eater, or even a hedge trimmer, I rely on the next best thing to get the job done. My katana!!!
After 13 years I FINALLY used this thing HA HA!
I got to thinking... You know I've been living here at my new location in Tennessee for a couple of weeks now. I've been staring at this 6 to 8 feet high grass all over the property. Grass I had cut down 4 months ago when I was visiting back in April. There are weeds in the garden area that are at least 10 feet high!!! So seeing how high this grass has grown just in the last 4 months really has made me want to do something about that.
I mean just look at all this cabbage!!! I got my work cut out for me.
At the moment I don't have a machete, and the weed eater isn't working, and the lawn mower is in the shop. But I got this here nice long and shiny samurai sword. That's when the light bulb came on HA HA. Maybe it can do the trick!
This is what this section of the yard looks like now. I got a good lot of it cut down to about a foot to a foot and a half high. You can actually walk back to the junk that was buried back there HA HA. There is still lots to be done but this got me started until I can use the weed eater.

I actually had to stop cutting and couldn't finish the rest because the side of my hand blistered not long after making the video. The rayskin was rubbing up against my hand with every whack causing it to blister. Maybe I should of been wearing gloves huh? Dipshit Democracy!
As you can see in my video, my katana is made to be held and swung with both hands. The positioning of my hands when I was swinging my blade is what made it blister. I think that's how you can tell your sword has some pretty strong and tight rayskin on it. I could really get a nice strong grip! Nice enough my hand blistered HA HA.
All in all, my sword will CUT!
Or as Doug Marcaida from Forged In Fire would say, "It will keal!"
Thanks for looking and,
