Here are some things I do to feel this intimate connection:
Become a Silent Witness to the Divine
I like to step outside, not with a plan, but with a sense of wonder, walking into nature not to conquer it, but to witness it, as one might sit in the presence of an ancient wisdom keeper. I like to find a quiet place, perhaps a meadow at dawn or beside a quiet river, and simply be in the present moment. No thinking, no analyzing just observing all that I see and feel. The colors, the sounds, the shapes. The wind whispering through the trees. The play of light on a leaf. In this stillness, God speaks through creation's unspoken language. Each moment becomes a delicate communion.
Listen to the Song of Creation
Every breeze to me is a note, every bird’s song a melody, every rustle of leaves a chord in a cosmic symphony. I think nature sings to those who listen, like becoming attuned to the symphony of life. I really like to close my eyes for a moment and feel the rhythm beneath the earth, the subtle heartbeat of creation itself. This music doesn’t need to be understood; it only needs to be felt.
