Step by step, how to make wood heart for Rustical Weeding
Step 1
First step is to plant tree in your garden ;)
But, seriously we can do it more quickly, by having tree branch than we borrowed from forest :)
It will be look more cool, if we will have different diameter of tree branch and also different kind of tree ( we use birch-tree, apple-tree, pine-tree). Next we cut them on about 1-1,5 centimeters (0,39-0,50 inch) on the saw. If we don't have any possibility to do it by yourself, we can make friends with carpenter! :) Remeber you should be carefoul while you making a wood slices!
Step 2
We should sort slices, becouse some of them could be damaged or cracked.
After that we can start planning, how our heart should look and how big we want it to be.
Step 3
When we have our perfect contour, we can fill the heart by rest of the slices in the irregular way.
Step 4
Now we spread metal fence on our heart and start attach by taker metal wire to every single wood slice. After that, to be sure that slices are well connected we put on place of the attached wire hot glue.
Step 5
In the end after we picked up the wood heart and turn over, we fill empty holes by the tiniest wood slices.
Step 6
Pick up your DIY wood heart and smile to the picture ! :)
Step 7
If left some of the slices you can make from it your weeding initials. We did K and T ! :)
