Oh I will fix it alright, once and for all!!
I bought a new one 😉 Well new to us anyway.
Sometimes I just get tired of fixing old stuff and decide to buy a “new” one.
“Hmm, what could I do with an old washing machine?”
Take it to the dump or scrap yard?
Well I had my son tear this old washer apart, and together we pulled the tub out of it and made a burn barrel.
The legs are made out of metal braces used to support cross arms on power poles. So they were free 😉 I just cut them and welded them on the bottom to keep it off he ground a little bit.
My son and I built this before the days of Steemit, but put it to some use tonight burning a bunch of branches I trimmed off of the trees and shrubs around the house, along with some scrap wood.
Of course the kids had to get some pieces of wood and make their little torches.
“Don’t play in the fire!”
With all the little holes around the sides, it looks really awesome with the fire flickering inside.
This thing puts off some serious heat.
