AHA (Alphahydroxy acid) and BHA (Betahydroxy acid) are two components that can aid in lightening your skin.
If you are a bit skeptical of all the chemical components in your face and neck cream, you can get the same acids from natural sources (even though it might take a little longer to achieve tour desire.
Below are some AHA and BHA and where you can source them naturally:
1-Salicylic acid:Derived from green tea. Brew your tea and add to your organic soap, your skin will radiate
2-Lactic acid:plain yogurt/buttermilk.Ph 4.0.
3-Malic acid/Lactic acid:ACV) Apple cider vinegar) pH 4.0.
4-Tartaric acid-cream of tartar.mainly good for facial mask.ph4.85
5-Malic acid:all unripe grapes fruit (not ripe)ph
3.8+3.8.
6-Glycolic acid:plain white sugar/sugarcane syrup.very good exfoliating agent.
7-Glycolic acid from fruit: Unripe papaya, pineapple.ph 3.20-4.0.
Papaya has exfoliating agent n restorative property in it's purest form.
8-Citric acid: Unripe lemon.orange,lime, grape, tomatoes.ph2.0
N/B-your face have pH of5.5,so DIY can damage your face,if you mix up too many AHA.
Out of all these ACV is my choice for facial mask, though the smell is awful but it works.
